LOOKING for things happening in and around Herefordshire this summer?
We've compiled some of the upcoming events to keep you busy.
These are three of the events published in the what's on section of the Hereford Times this week (June 27).
Saturday Café

THE Courtyard is bringing back its Saturday Café sessions, allowing people to kick back, relax and enjoy free live music in the Hereford theatre’s lounge.
A spokesperson for the theatre said: “The Saturday Café offers a unique opportunity to enjoy the melodies of musicians in a laid-back setting. There’s something for everyone.
“Experience the magic of live music while sipping on your favourite beverage and soaking in the relaxing ambience of the lounge.
“Enjoy a morning of delight as the community comes together through the power of music.”
The event will be held at the Courtyard Lounge on Augusr 3 at 11am. All are welcome.
Hay Pride

HAY Pride is returning for its fourth year, celebrating the LGBTQ+ community in the Herefordshire border town.
The festival will come to the town on July 6, with this year’s theme being “solidarity”.
The celebration will kick off with a parade led by the Hay Pride samba band, starting at the Globe at 11.30am and arriving at the castle at midday. A show and ceremony at the castle will feature the acts Taiko for Pride and Qwerin.
There will be family-friendly fun at the castle from midday to 6pm, a day promising to be full of joy, laughter and entertainment for all ages. In the evening, the celebration will become an adult-only queer cabaret and party night at the Globe running from 6pm to 1am.
The exciting line-up of performances is headlined by Kate Butch from Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK, and also includes acts like Dairy King, Truly Kaput, Drag Dive Kee Fit, Symone and Boo La Croux.
Graham Nolan, the director of Hay Pride, said: “Solidarity is the foundation of the LGBTQ+ movement. It reminds us that we are stronger together. In challenging political times where our rights are often under scrutiny, standing in solidarity is more crucial than ever.
“We call upon every member of the LGBTQ+ community to come together, celebrate our identities and support each other.
“Our allies also play a pivotal role in this journey. Their support amplifies our voices and helps foster a society where everyone can live authentically.
“Hay Pride is a unique celebration, rooted in our small community. With accessibility and rural queer voices at its heart Hay Pride strives to show how thriving rural queer communities can be.
“At the same time, we invite queer acts from the cities to enrich our communities with their fabulousness, creating a vibrant atmosphere for all.
“Let’s stand together in solidarity and show the world the power of unity.
“Join us for a day and night filled with unyielding support for one another. We will create an atmosphere of acceptance and joy, celebrating our community.”

Malvern Food Festival

THE Malvern Food Festival is all set to return, with the two-day event to take place at Priory Park, Great Malvern on July 6 and 7.
The festival is organised by Boffy Events and Malvern Hills District Council. It is supported by Fox Town and Country Homes.
More than 40 stalls will offer a wide selection of locally sourced produce, as the festival returns for its 14th year.
The event will showcase live cookery demonstrations where top local chefs will be on hand to offer tips and advice on creating dishes at home.
Live music and other performers will be on throughout the day.
Victoria Carmen, visitor economy manager at the district council, said: “We are really looking forward to the return of this popular event. We encourage people to come along to this event and support our wonderful local food producers.”
