2 p.m. — Rogers County Cherokee Association meets at the Tiawah Cherokee Community Building,15488 East 523 Road. Free door prize drawings. Food and refreshments provided. Members encouraged to bring a dessert to share. Troy Wayne Poteete, executive director of the National Trail of Tears Association (NTOTA), will present the history of the NTOTA and the importance of its work preserving the history for all five Tribes. The Oklahoma Trail of Tears Association has been invited to join us and recruit new members.

6 p.m. — Claremore Public Schools Board of Education meeting, Enrollment Center, 101 West 11th Street.

7 p.m. — VFW meeting, VFW Bingo Hall, 1717 West Dupont St. Representative from Folds of Honor will speak about their programs for veterans and dependents.

Wednesday

9 a.m. — 1 Million Cups with speaker Lindsay Adolphson, owner of Smokelahoma BBQ at Northeast Tech Claremore's Campus. 1 Million Cups Facebook page for the latest event details.
