Where to vote in Cambridge in the 2024 general election - full polling station list
A full list of the Cambridge polling stations where people can vote during the 2024 general election has been released. Polls will open on July 4, at 7am and people will have until 10pm to cast their vote for who they want to represent the city as an MP. People who have registered to vote will be sent a poll card, which will provide details of the polling station they should vote at.
Cambridge City Council has also released a full list of all the polling stations that will be open in the city for the election. There are seven candidates standing for election in the Cambridge constituency in this general election. They are Khalid Abu-Tayyem, Workers Party of Britain; David Carmona, Independent; Keith Alexander Garrett, Rebooting Democracy; Shane Manning, Conservative Party; Sarah Louise Nicmanis, Green Party; Cheney Payne, Liberal Democrat; Daniel Stephen Zeichner, Labour Party.
Voters will also need to show an accepted form of photo ID to polling station staff before they will be issued with their ballot. Anyone without one of the types of accepted ID can apply for a ‘Voter Authority Certificate’, but must do so before the deadline at 5pm on June 26, in order for it to be issued in time for the general election.
