A 'While Since We’ve Seen Snow Like This in Boise,' Says National Weather Service

Snow falling in Idaho caused reduced visibility amid strong winds on January 14.

Boise Airport saw two inches of snow in just an hour, the National Weather Service reported, saying it had been a "while since we’ve seen snow like this in Boise.”

The snow began early and fell through the day across parts of Idaho. It followed a weekend storm that saw elevated avalanche risk in mountainous parts of the state. Credit: NWS Boise via Storyful
