Whiteout Conditions in Colorado Ski Country

Whiteout conditions hit areas around Breckenridge, Colorado, on Tuesday, February 27, as the National Weather Service (NWS) predicted up to nine inches of snow to fall by 11 pm.

This footage, posted by Summit County Libraries, shows whiteout conditions in the town of Frisco.

According to the NWS, an avalanche warning indicating “high” risk was also in effect until Wednesday morning for the region.
