Whiteout conditions affected southern Idaho on Friday morning, December 8, as the National Weather Service (NWS) warned of life-threatening travel conditions in the Pocatello area.
Footage shows blowing snow lowering visibility at the NWS’s office in Pocatello on Friday morning. The office warned it was seeing wind gusts up to 40 mph and visibility below a quarter of a mile.
