'Whoooo' Goes There? Family Finds Owl in Kitchen

A family in Naples, Florida, woke up in the middle of the night to find an owl perched on a rooster decoration in their kitchen.

Leti Trejo captured this video and told Storyful she believes one of her cats brought the owl inside.

The video shows the renegade raptor staring down at Trejo from atop the rooster. Another clip shows Trejo attempting to persuade the owl to step onto a stick, to no avail.

“We were woken up by our son, who had been surprised by an owl in the kitchen when he went for his snack,” Trejo said. “This shows the rescue and outside release.” Credit: Leti Trejo via Storyful
