Whoopi Goldberg reveals she recently dated a man 40 years older than her: 'Is he still alive?'

Goldberg's granddaughter previously said on "Claim to Fame" that Goldberg dated a billionaire in his 90s. By "The View" star's math, he's now at least 108.

One of Whoopi Goldberg's former flames is currently at least 108 years old, according to The View moderator's math.

The EGOT-winning actress revealed on Thursday's episode that she once dated a man who was 40 years older than her — information that came up as the Hot Topics panel reacted to the new trailer for Anne Hathaway's upcoming movie The Idea of You, which follows a 40-year-old woman pursuing a relationship with a famous 24-year-old singer.

"I've gone up and down. I go from here to here, because your age is not what's going to get me into your arms. It's not your age that I'm concerned about — unless you're under 18, in which case I can't," the 68-year-old told her fellow panelists, after Sunny Hostin noted that nearly all of the show's cohosts married men who were younger than them.

Goldberg — who famously once reacted to the idea of getting married at this point in her life by stating that she doesn't want someone else in her house — closed the segment by dropping a juicy bit of information about her own love life.

Whoopi Goldberg reveals she dated a man 40 years older than her on 'The View'

"One of the last relationships I had, he was 40 years older than me," Goldberg said. "Is he still alive?" Joy Behar asked, to which Goldberg responded with a nod and a quick, "Mhmm" before the cameras cut to commercial. If Goldberg's facts are correct, this would make her former lover at least 108 years old.

The revelation came after Goldberg's granddaughter, Amara Skye, claimed on the ABC reality series Claim to Fame in 2022 that Goldberg previously dated a billionaire in his 90s. Syke also claimed that her grandmother "likes to fart a lot" and once had a legendary fart-off with fellow comedians Robin Williams and Billy Crystal inside an elevator.

"I guess they were Dutch Oven-ing each other, just basking in the ambience of farts," Skye said on the show. Her claims line up with The View's broadcast, which has seen Goldberg regularly let loose on set — a bit of information Hostin also later alleged during an interview on Watch What Happens Live.

EW has reached out to a representative for The View for comment.

The View airs weekdays at 11 a.m. ET on ABC.
