Whoopi Goldberg has strong advice for nude weddings: Store the ring 'on the nipple'

The Oscar winner laid bare her thoughts on attending a nudist nuptial during a Hot Topics chat on "The View."

Whoopi Goldberg has laid bare her thoughts on nude weddings.

The View cohost and Oscar-winning actress revealed Wednesday morning some wise advice for people getting married while naked, during a Hot Topics discussion about a man whose nudist wedding rubbed his sister the wrong way.

"I have my dermatologist put on a mask when he does it, so, even he's never seen me naked. No one sees me naked. I met my husband at a semi-nudist colony, and he hasn't seen me naked since," cohost Joy Behar said at the top of the chat, when Goldberg asked her colleagues for their thoughts before spilling her own.

Goldberg sat from her moderator perch and made some hilarious facial expressions as the panelists spoke, and finally engaged when Behar asked, "Where do they keep the ring, for example?"

"On the nipple," Goldberg replied, repeating for those who didn't hear the first time: "On the nipple."

Behar also summarized the groom's insistence on having a nude wedding — even at the expense of his sister's feelings — "incestuous," before Goldberg speculated on the reason he wanted to have a nude wedding in the first place.

"I don't think he wants his sister to go," she said. "I think he knows his sister well enough to know that she doesn't want to stand there naked, and maybe that's his way of saying, okay, I'll make sure that you don't have to be [there.]"

Before going to commercial, Behar quipped that "at least the bride knows what she's getting," while Sara Haines joked that there's "no false advertising on" the man's nude body.

Without missing a beat, Goldberg sent the show to break by cutting the groom down to size: "Only if it's warm," she said.
