Britain’s Got Talent fans who were hoping to get their fix tonight will be disappointed. The popular ITV show will not air in its usual Saturday night slot this week.

It's believed it has been pulled from the schedule to avoid a clash with the Eurovision Song Contest. Britain's Got Talent, which is now in its seventeenth series, kicked off last month with a weekend double bill.

So far, judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and former Strictly Come Dancing favourite Bruno Tonioli have seen acts including singer Taryn Charles, a teacher who uses music to help students with special educational needs. The panel were also impressed by the Ssaulabi Performance Troupe, who showed off their taekwondo skills.

Despite no show tonight, viewers will not have long to wait. The next episode of Britain’s Got Talent will air on Sunday, May 12 at 7.40pm.

The Eurovision grand final in Malmo will air from 8pm on BBC One. The UK's entry is Olly Alexander, who will perform his song Dizzy.
