Newcastle United return to Premier League action tonight when they face Crystal Palace.

Eddie Howe's team head to Selhurst Park to take on the Eagles in their first match in nearly two weeks. Newcastle have not played a game since the 4-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur on April 13, after the weekend's fixture against Manchester United was postponed due to the Red Devils being in FA Cup semi-final action.

Now Newcastle will be busy looking ahead to the Premier League run-in and climbing the table. The Magpies are currently sixth in the league standings and have ambitions of qualifying for Europe before the end of the campaign.

Victory for Newcastle would boost the club's chances of qualifying for Europe next season, even though there is a 16-point gap from fourth-placed Aston Villa with two games in hand. Howe and Co. will be determined to finish the season with as many wins as possible, starting with the trip to Selhurst Park.
