Widnes and Halewood is a new constituency for the 2024 general election.

This election saw a number of new constituencies contested for the first time following a boundary review last year. The map now includes the new seat of Widnes and Halewood - a constituency which crosses the border of Merseyside and Cheshire, covering a number of towns and villages.

The Widnes and Halewood seat has been created from areas that were formerly part of the abolished Garston & Halewood and Halton constituencies. It also takes some of the Whiston and Cronton wards from the St Helens South and Whiston constituency.

Labour took the seat. You can follow the results as they come in using this special election tool.
