Wiltshire-based company sponsors biker pursuing his passion

A Wiltshire-based property-development company has announced their sponsorship of one of their own, so he can pursue his passion for racing.

Chippenham-based Backhouse is sponsoring Gareth Roberts, a quantity surveyor at the company.

Roberts, 30, is known for his love of motorbike racing and he has been a prominent participant in the NG Road Racing Series – 600 Class and the Open Class – in the last five years, crediting his dad as the ‘driving force’ behind his achievements.

He said: “I am incredibly grateful to Backhouse for its sponsorship and support. It’s great to have my employer as one of my sponsors and the support from my colleagues has been wonderful.

“Racing in the NG Road Racing Series is not only a passion of mine but also a significant commitment. The financial assistance will greatly alleviate the costs associated with racing, allowing me to focus on competing at my best.”
