Win family tickets to London Zoo with free LNR train travel from Birmingham

We have a great competition for you today. Our Brummie Mummies parenting Podcast, Newsletter, Facebook and Instagram hub have teamed up with London Northwestern Railway to offer a great day out for the whole family.

As part of LNR's Destination London campaign, you have the chance to win tickets to London Zoo for a family of four. What's more, it includes train travel from your nearest station on the LNR network around the West Midlands.

Worth £230, the tickets are flexible, meaning you can use them any time in the next 12 months. And you don’t even need to go into the centre of Birmingham to get the train to the capital. The deadline to enter is midnight on August 11.

Whilst the LNR network does pass through Birmingham New Street, you can also pick it up from Wolverhampton, Smethwick Galton Bridge, Stechford, Lea Hall, Marston Green, Birmingham International, Coventry and a whole host of other stations.

There are more than 10,000 animals to discover at London Zoo and it's set right in the heart of the capital in leafy Regent's Park, making it an oasis of calm that's really easy to reach. The zoo's landmark walk-through Monkey Valley soars an incredible 80ft above the London skyline and has a 30ft waterfall and peaceful lagoon where you can watch colobus monkeys leaping and swinging in their tree-top inspired habitat.

There's also a Bird Safari, a Gorilla Kingdom, a Komodo Dragon House, a Penguin Beach, a Tiger Territory and the Land of the Lions, which is home to new cubs. Conservation is at the heart of this zoo and you can learn about what's being done to help protect these species in the future.
