Wind-Driven Snow Reported in Parts of New York State

High winds and snow hit several counties in New York state on Wednesday, February 28.

Footage filmed by Joseph Frascati shows falling snow being blown away by wind in Churchville.

The National Weather Service (NWS) issued a high wind warning for the area valid until Thursday morning and warned of wind gusts up to 60 mph.

A strong cold front could bring “much colder temperatures, windy conditions, and accumulating lake snows southeast of the lakes,” the NWS said. Credit: Joseph Frascati via Storyful
