The final of this year's Eurovision Song Contest is taking place on Saturday night and one of the acts involved is Finland's Windows95 Man, who has been attracting a lot of attention over in Sweden.

As last year's result went right to the wire, Finland came close to winning Eurovision 2023, as their act Käärijä came second to champion Loreen with his song Cha Cha Cha, which cemented itself as a massive fan favourite. Loreen's victory in Liverpool means that this year's competition is being hosted in Malmo, with 37 countries taking part.

The Big 5 - United Kingdom, France, Spain, Germany and Italy - and host nation Sweden all have an automatic place in Saturday's final, but the other 31 acts all had to earn their place in the finale by competing in the semi final. Eurovision semi final 1 was first up on May 7 with Windows95 Man joining the likes of Baby Lasagna, alyona & Jerry Heil from Ukraine and Ireland's Bambie Thug.

After giving one of the most eye catching performances of the night, he did make it through and will now compete in the final on May 11.

Who is Finland's Windows95 Man at Eurovision?

The act, named after a famous computer package is at Eurovision this year, having topped the vote in the final of Finnish selection process UMK. The vote was decided by both the Finnish public, and an international jury, with Windows95man topping the scoreboard with 313 points despite finishing bottom with the jurors.

Windows95 Man, real name Teemu Keisteri, describes himself as 'an embodiment of the '90s, who frees a once timid family man from his everyday life'. The character Windows95 Man was born in 2013, when Keisteri performed a DJ set at the Flow Festival and the rest is history.

Since then, Windows95 Man has performed Helsinki’s New Year’s celebration in 2022 and opened up for Käärijä at his headline gig in the Finnish capital. He will be joined on stage at Eurovision by Henri Piispanen.

Talking about being in the contest, Windows 95 Man said: "In my opinion, all Finns are a bit looney-tunes deep inside, and I wanted to bring that out more. Now I can share my music with an even bigger audience as well as spread the joyous message of No Rules"
