Winter Storm Creates 'Whiteout Conditions' in Western Colorado

Strong winds and heavy snow swept across parts of Colorado on Wednesday, February 22, as a winter storm created “whiteout conditions” in the area.

This footage was captured by Marilyn Waldman, who said she filmed it in Durango on Wednesday afternoon. According to the National Weather Service (NWS), 68 mph wind gusts were recorded at Durango airport around the same time.
