Daisy Jones & The Six executive producer Reese Witherspoon hopes Fleetwood Mac icon Stevie Nicks tunes into her new Prime Video series.

Inspired by Taylor Jenkins Reid's book of the same name, which was published in 2019, the premise concerns a 1970s rock band as they ascend from the LA music scene to become one of the most legendary groups on the planet, while exploring the reason behind their shock split.

Talking to Variety ahead of the series launch next week, Witherspoon answered a question about who she'd like to appear should Daisy Jones get renewed by the streaming platform.

"Stevie Nicks!" she declared. "I hope Stevie watches the show. I think she'll love it."

Meanwhile, Billy Dunne actor Sam Claflin chipped in with even more dream-castings, telling the publication: "Bruce Springsteen. I'm so heavily influenced on Billy by Bruce, I would need a bit of Bruce."

"Bruce would have to show up somehow," reiterated showrunner Scott Neustadter. "I'm from New Jersey so it's in the blood. It's Bruce Springsteen forever."

In other news, Oscar-winner Witherspoon recently promised the involvement of The White Lotus actress Jennifer Coolidge when it comes to Legally Blonde 3.

"I'm beyond myself about Jennifer Coolidge. She deserves every one of those flowers she is receiving right now.

"And she's just one of those people who is so naturally gifted and funny and that you can just tell people love her, 'cause she gets up there and everybody's like, 'I love her,' but she's just done a lot of good work in our business for so long that it's really nice to see her getting this incredible moment," she continued.

"There is no Legally Blonde 3 without Jennifer Coolidge."

Daisy Jones & The Six premieres Friday, March 3 on Prime Video.
