Woman 'followed round Asda' by man she did not know as police issue photo appeal

Police are investigating after a woman was reportedly followed by a man around a supermarket. Gwent Police has issued an image of a man it wants to speak with in connection with the incident.

A spokesperson for the force said it was investigating an allegation of harassment. A woman was reportedly approached by an unknown man on June 27 and followed around the Asda supermarket in Blackwood High Street in Caerphilly county.

"Officers would like to speak to [the man pictured], who was seen in the area, and may be able to help with their enquiries," said the spokesperson. "If you recognise this man, or have any information, please call 101 or DM us on Facebook or X quoting log reference 2400213293. You can also call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
