Singer Chris Brown has been named in a lawsuit that claims a woman was held against her will and sexually assaulted at the star’s home.

Attorney Gloria Allred announced during a press conference that she has filed the lawsuit on behalf of her client – a woman who remains unnamed and referred to only as Jane Doe – and described the incident as ‘one of the most horrific sexual assault cases [she had] ever seen.’

The LA Times reveal the details of the case, whereby Doe is filing against Brown who is alleged to have confiscated her phone and kept her at his home for two days, while his friends sexually assaulted her.

During this time, it’s claimed that Brown brandished a handgun and gave drugs to a number of women in attendance.

Doe is said to have met Brown, 29, at a West Hollywood club, before heading to his recording studio with him and his entourage and eventually going to back to his home. However, she apparently venture to the star’s house after he ordered her phone to be confiscated in an attempt to retrieve it.

The incident is alleged to have taken place on 23 February and continued until the following day.

According to the suit, the woman’s mother became concerned over the whereabouts of her daughter, so located her mobile phone to Brown’s home via GPS. After calling the police they weren’t, according to reports, allowed entry to Brown’s property and once the woman was freed she immediately reported the crime to them.

Allred confirmed that they were pressing forward with a civil suit in the meantime.
