A woman was sexually assaulted by a man on the escalators at London Bridge station.

The victim was approached by a man at the station at 10.40pm on Sunday, April 16, who tried to engage her in conversation. He repeatedly asked her where she was going.

He followed her onto an escalator and sexually assaulted her.

When she boarded a train, he sat beside her and continued remarking on her appearance.

He eventually left the train before it departed and boarded another service out of the station.

On Friday, the British Transport Police released CCTV images of a man they would like to identify, as they believe he has information which may assist the investigation.
