Woman shares genius jewellery hack that will untangle any necklace in seconds

A woman has shared a genius hack that will untangle even the most finicky of knots in your jewellery - and all you need is some talcum powder.

There is nothing worse than opening up your jewellery box and spotting that your favourite necklaces have gotten themselves into a bit of a pickle. Untangling these pieces of silver or gold can be extremely hard and delicate to do, and you can end up making it worse if you get frustrated.

There is one way that you can avoid this headache, however, and that's by using a little bit of talcum powder to get rid of the tangle.

One woman, who goes by @tiger_lee_uk on TikTok, shared the simple hack with the caption: "Talcum powder is the key" alongside a love heart eyes emoji and an 'okay' hand sign.

In the video, the woman shows her necklace that is all tangled into a small knot in the middle. She tries to untangle it on its own then wags a finger 'no' before placing the necklace down on a table.

She then placed some talcum powder on the table into a small circle and grabbed two small pins from a box. The TikToker then placed the knot into the middle of the talcum powder and mixed it in a little bit.

The woman then grabbed the two pins and used them to wiggle the knot out of the necklace. This simple yet effective hack garnered 25,000 views on TikTok with viewers praising this method for untangling necklaces.

One happy viewer wrote: "Where has this been all my life?" Another said: "I always say thank you before seeing your amazing hacks!"

And a third just simply commented some love heart emojis to share their joy at this hack.
