Woman's 'clever' hack banishes 'yellow' stains from white clothes so they look new

Nicole Mikaluk, a lifestyle blogger and TikTok star, revealed her incredibly easy trick to banish ‘yellow pit stains’ on white t-shirts, making them look sparkling and completely ‘brand new’.

Nicole, who goes by Nic on social media, regularly lifestyle tips, tricks and recommendations on her platform.

In a video uploaded to her TikTok, Nic shared her three-ingredient trick to combat sweat stains on white clothes. She claimed the hack will make white clothes look 'new again'.

Nice captioned her video: “Truly didn't think this would work but it did. If you wanna get rid of that yellow pit stain on all of your white t-shirts, soak them in a bath of vinegar, baking soda and cold water for an hour and they come out brand new. I didn’t take a before video at all because I honestly didn’t think it would work, but it did.”

In the comments, Nic said you’ll need to throw your clothes in the washing machine after soaking them for an hour. She also explained that she used four cups of water, one cup of white vinegar and one quarter of a cup of baking soda (bicarbonate of soda in the UK).

Nic’s video has been viewed over a massive 764,000 times. Impressed viewers shared their thoughts in the comment section.

Amorinhi suggested: “Alternatively try rubbing in baking soda and dish soap, and washing as normal afterwards. Anything to avoid that smell. Also, don't we have antiperspirant that doesn't stain by now? I mean come on!”
