A woman said she was left confused after her seats at the Taylor Swift concert at Anfield were changed at the last minute.

Natalie Bavis, 32, secured tickets for last night's highly-anticipated Eras Tour gig at the Liverpool venue with her sister Jade and two friends Mel and Layla, the Liverpool Echo reports. She said the tickets she had bought were sold has having a 'bad view', but that they became excited when they realised they would be sitting to the side of the walkway, giving them a good view of the behind-the-scenes working on the stage.

She claimed that on Wednesday, she received an email saying the seats had now been moved leaving them 'feeling rubbish'. Ticketmaster said the new seats have a 'much clearer view of the stage'.

Natalie, from Huyton, said: "We got an email telling us our seats are being moved. They (Ticketmaster) didn't give us any justification.

"We've been moved to the complete opposite end of the stadium. They were quite rubbish seats anyway but they were near the walkway so you can see a bit of the scenes at the gig."

The group would now be seated at the other end of the stadium, much further back from the stage. Natalie said: "It feels rubbish. We made peace about our tickets."

An email Natalie has shared with a message from Ticketmaster Fan Support states there 'have been a few changes to the seating configuration for the event' but states the company has 'worked with the venue and swapped you into some new seats'.

Speculating on why she has been moved, Natalie said: "They were sold as having a bad view. Only thing we can think of is that it's been seen how good it is to see the walkway at her other shows and they've been re-sold as more expensive tickets with a better view."

What's more, Natalie went through the same process when she saw Taylor in Manchester as part of her Reputation tour in 2018. Her tickets were relocated from seats near the front to ones several blocks further back by Ticketmaster. She was told this was due to 'stadium problems'.

Natalie is frustrated that this has happened again. She said: "I get a lot of gig tickets. I've never had it happen except Tyalor swift. I don't know whether it's because the event is so high in demand."

"We're really disappointed. It just gives you a really bad opinion of Ticketmaster."

In response to Natalie's claims, a spokesperson for Ticketmaster said yesterday: "We can assure Natalie that her new seats are much better with a clearer view of the stage. We hope she enjoys the show."

A spokesperson for Liverpool Football Club said enquiries about this should be directed to Ticketmaster.
