A photo has been released of a woman after attempts were made to steal cosmetics and reed diffusers from a Bradbeers store.

Police have released the photo after the incident at 5pm on April 24 at Bradbeers on Station Road, New Milton.

Cosmetics and two reed diffusers were stolen.

A woman was then challenged and put the cosmetics back before leaving the store with the reed diffusers without paying.

A member of staff then confronted the woman outside and retrieved the items.

A police spokesperson said: "Do you recognise this woman? We want to speak to her as part of a shoplifting incident in New Milton.

"We would also like to speak to her about an incident which occurred at the same shop on 13 April, when more than £100 worth of perfume was stolen.
