Wreckage on Highway After Deadly Collision Between Passenger Bus and Semi Truck

A Greyhound passenger bus and a semi truck collided on Interstate 40 near Thoreau, New Mexico, on August 30, causing multiple fatalities.

The New Mexico State Police said multiple people were killed in the crash.

This footage shows the truck and the bus on the shoulder between I-40’s westbound lane and Route 66. The front of the passenger bus is destroyed completely, and emergency workers were still at the scene. The truck’s trailer is in the median.
