X Factor 2015: Why Have ALL The Groups Changed Their Names?

We already knew that X Factor’s 4th Power were being forced to change their name due to another band somewhere in the world claiming they were called 4th Power first.

However, in an unexpected twist, ALL of this year’s groups have changed their names to avoid anymore cases of potential copyright infringement.

The changes come ahead of this weekend’s Judges’ Houses, where Cheryl Fernandez-Versini will be joined by Jess Glynne as she tries to whittle her six Groups down to just three, with her decision being announced live when they return from Rome.

Here are all their new names:

4th Power are now 4th Impact

Last month, a source spoke to The Sun about 4th Power having to change their name, saying: “It came as a bit of a shock. The homework should have been done.”

Another source told OK! Online: “4th Power were in the 6 chair challenge but at this stage in the competition it came up there is an issue with their name similar to that suffered by Little Mix.

“It was announced during the challenge there would be a public vote to rename the band.”

Bring on Judges’ Houses!
