X Factor 2016: Two contestants are having a 'secret gay affair'

It has been reported that two X Factor contestants have been enjoying a secret gay affair, with even the judges being left in the dark over their secret liaisons.

This is all sounding very 2010, isn’t it?

Both contestants reportedly made the final 12.

According to reports, the two hopefuls have been keeping their romance top secret with only a handful of crew and fellow contestants knowing about their relationship, however, it is understood that both of their families know that they are together.

Speaking to the Daily Star, a source revealed: “They became pals throughout Boot Camp, but they only got together when they made it to the live shows.

“Their families and friends know they are an item, but they’ve kept it a secret from viewers. Their fans have no idea they are a couple.

“Both get a lot of tweets from fans, but they just aren’t interested.”

With Emily Middlemas and Ryan Lawrie in a high-profile relationship with one another and fellow hopeful, Saara Aalto, recently getting engaged to her long-term girlfriend, it is safe to assume that they are not the contestants involved.

The source’s claims are eerily reminiscent of 2010’s series of The X Factor, with it being reported back then that crew were forced to keep two hopefuls apart after they embarked on a same-sex relationship.

It was widely believed by fans of the show at the time that the two stars in question were Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson from group One Direction, which soon sparked the widespread fandom belief that Harry and Louis are in a secret relationship.

However, it was never officially confirmed who the two celebs of 2010’s same-sex romance were.
