X Factor: Louis Walsh admits he 'doesn't like' working with girl bands as Four Of Diamonds return - EXCLUSIVE
The X Factor live shows returned to our screens over the weekend, and it wasn’t without it’s fair share of drama.
Following harrowing allegations that Josh Brooks had physically abused his ex-girlfriend, group Brooks Way were permanently axed from the competition after they were banned from performing on Saturday night.
On Monday it was announced that girl group Four Of Diamonds would be replacing the boys in the show, making a sensational return to Louis Walsh’s category – but the Irish judge admitted to us last night that he “doesn’t particularly like” working with all-girl groups.
Yikes.
Speaking exclusively to Yahoo Celeb UK at the Specsaver’s Spectacle Wearer Of The Year Awards, Louis told us: “I don’t particularly like working with girl bands because it’s very hard to find a girl band that all get on.
“But these four seem like really good friends and we picked our song for Saturday, the theme is Motown, I’m very glad that I have them now.
“I did love Four Of Diamonds and if I could have picked a fourth act I would have picked them anyway.
“These girls are really good, honestly I’m really happy with the two groups that I have.”
Louis went on to insist that he didn’t regret putting the Brooks through to the live shows, telling us: “I took a chance with the boys and it didn’t work.
“I have no regrets – I can’t talk about Brooks Way, I know nothing about [the situation]”.
Four Of Diamonds are set to make their triumphant return to the X Factor stage this weekend, and we couldn’t be more excited to have a girl group join the show.
