New Yorkers trudged through ankle-deep rainwater as flash flooding soaked the city on Friday, September 29.

Video posted by Brooklyn real estate agent Erika Sackin shows pedestrians and cyclists struggling through an inundated intersection in the borough’s Flatbush neighborhood on Friday morning.

The National Weather Service issued flash flooding alerts for New York City on Friday, with residents warned to move to higher ground and avoid walking or driving through floodwaters.
