Edinburgh Taylor Swift fans were targeted by a lip and face fillers business as they queued up to attend the Murrayfield Stadium gigs, it has been reported.

According to the Scottish Sun, the company parked a van advertising their services as punters travelled from across the globe to watch the pop star perform.

After previously being approached, the owner of the business raged and swore at the reporter who confronted them.

The cosmetic procedure van was spotted near the capital venue last weekend, with a sign reading 'How do you want to look? Book a free consultation today.'

According to the Sun, the company also posted on Facebook: “Keep an eye out for us at the Taylor Swift concert. If you see the van take a pic and send to us or tag us in our story.

“We have 5 x £50 vouchers up for grabs!!!”

The newspaper reports how a trade body has criticised the “highly alarming” stunt.

Ashton Collins said Save Face has received 21 complaints about the Livingston-based company in two years.

She told the Sun the company is "deliberately targeting a young and potentially vulnerable audience who may be naive to the risks that treatments such as lip fillers can cause.”

Last night he said: “We are fully insured. We’re legally carrying out treatments. I have treated over 100,000 patients.

"If you look at the ratio of complaints to the amount of people that we treat it’s 0.3 per cent.”

A Scottish Government spokesperson previously said a public consultation had shown overwhelming support for tighter regulation of non-surgical cosmetic procedures that pierce or penetrate the skin, including dermal fillers.
