Young woman rushed to hospital with serious injuries after crash at zebra crossing

A woman has been taken to hospital after being seriously injured in a collision on a zebra crossing in Harlow. The road has been closed while the investigation continues.

Essex Police said the incident was in broad daylight at 12..40pm on Monday (June 10) at the junction of Howard Way and The Stow. A young woman is in hospital in a serious condition.

Detectives would like to speak to anyone who might have witnessed the incident. They believe a number of people might have seen what happened.

A spokesperson for the force said: "We believe a number of people may have witnessed the incident but have not yet spoken to us to provide an account and we’re appealing to people to please get in touch as soon as possible.
