YouTubers Brooklyn and Bailey McKnight Confirm Brooklyn Is Pregnant, Expecting First Baby: ‘The Secret Is Out!’

Brooklyn and her husband are expecting their first child on Jan. 23

YouTuber Brooklyn McKnight is going to be a mom.

The 24-year-old influencer is expecting her first baby with husband Dakota. Brooklyn shared the exciting news in a video titled “Finding Out I'm PREGNANT." She posted to the YouTube channel she shares with her twin sister Bailey McKnight on Wednesday, July 10, hours after they told fans one of them was pregnant without saying which one.

At the start of the 10-minute video, Brooklyn said that after having surgery to remove her Skene's gland cyst, she and Dakota decided they “should start a family sooner” than they originally “thought” they could.

The video cuts to Brooklyn picking out a pregnancy test and then jumps to her and Dakota in their bathroom as her husband encourages her to take the test.

“It’s scary, but it’s also exciting,” she said as Dakota embraced her. She then read the positive pregnancy test.

“Holy! You’re pregnant,” Dakota shouted. Brooklyn was stunned by the news. As the couple double-checked the test, Brooklyn exclaimed, “Oh my god, it’s a plus! It’s a plus!” before showing the positive test to the camera. “There’s a baby in there,” she added.

The video jumped to the eight-week mark of Brooklyn’s pregnancy, as she tells viewers she’s headed for her first ultrasound and looking forward to seeing the baby for the first time.

The expectant parents filmed their journey to the doctor, and Dakota showed off his “Dad Club” hat that he hadn’t been able to wear. “I’ve been waiting for this day, I’m so excited,” he told his wife. “Is it one, is it two?”

“Is it healthy?” Brooklyn added, before noting that the excited parents-to-be will not know the gender until July 20.

Brooklyn also shared a peek into the first appointment, showing a glimpse of the sonogram. “There’s just one!” she said.

“I am just over the moon ecstatic right now,” Brooklyn shouted after the appointment. “Well for starters its only one baby. I’m not relieved — because I would’ve been thrilled if it was twins — but it does make my life a little bit easier that it's only one baby.”

Before the video concluded, she revealed her due date is Jan. 23, 2025.

After the announcement, Brooklyn shared a sweet video to her Instagram with Dakota, as the pair prepared the baby's room with adorable stuffed animals and baby books.

"2025 can’t come fast enough 🥹," she wrote in the caption.

Brooklyn and Dakota tied the knot on Sept. 30, 2022, in California, sharing a video of the couple's special day on her YouTube account. They shared details about their ceremony in the description of the clip.
