Zayn Malik Cancels First Ever Solo TV Appearance

We’ve got some bad news if, like us, you were more than a little bit excited, intrigued and emotional in anticipation of Zayn Malik’s first ever solo TV appearance.

Unfortunately, he won’t be making his first appearance without the One Direction boys on The Graham Norton Show anymore due to ‘scheduling’ issues.

We KNEW this horrendous rainy weather was trying to tell us something (that something being some pretty rubbish news).

Zayn was supposed to film his interview tomorrow, alongside some awesome guests - Yep, we’re talking about the Dad’s Army film cast, Will Smith and Ryan Reynolds.

The Graham Norton Show airs on Friday, so Zayn’s interview would’ve fit perfectly this week as this Friday is the day that Zayn’s first solo single ‘Pillowtalk’ is set for release.

Explaining the reason behind the last-minute cancellation, his rep told The Mirror: “Unfortunately there was a scheduling conflict as Zayn is currently in the studio completing his album.”

A source has also had their say, telling The Sun: “This is a very last-minute decision from Zayn and his team. They have put it down to scheduling issues but this is an appearance that has been in the diary for a while now.

“But it will spark talk of something being wrong behind the scenes. This appearance is a big deal to both Zayn and his fans.

“Graham and his producers are hoping they can get him back on in the future - but this being the week of his big solo career launch feels like the best time. There’s still a chance he could make it happen - but the show are now making alternative plans.”
