Awesome infographic plots 15 years of the web

As you know, we at Pocket-lint love a good infographic - so we were delighted to stumble across this effort from the Online University, which highlights just how much the web has changed in the last 15 years.

What was once a brightly coloured world wide web dominated by the likes of AOL and Webcrawler is now a minimalistic, multimedia heavy platform with Google and Facebook at its core.

The average load times times haven't changed as much as it states for us though. Mind you, we refuse to fork out for broadband - there's nowt wrong with our Zoom FaxModem 56K.
