BlackBerry 10 Alpha Dev device, the nicest handset you'll never own

BlackBerry 10 Alpha Dev device, the nicest handset you'll never own. BlackBerry, RIM, Phones, BB OS 10, BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha 0

There have been more leaks today than at the Welsh vegetable grower's Titanic re-enactment jamboree, and while many of them have been Samsung-centric, the fact that the BlackBerry Jam and BlackBerry World 2012 events are about to get under way in Orlando, Florida, means that at least one is RIM-flavoured.

However, unlike the many (mostly fake) pictures of the Samsung Galaxy S3 that have been floating about, we're pretty sure the pics of the device RIM is giving to BlackBerry 10 developers are genuine. They're just not of a phone you're ever likely to encounter.

Nor do the images, as published by CrackBerry.com, show the handset switched on, so there's no way of knowing at this stage what lovely BB10 goodness the device holds within its ebony frame. The handset is handsome though, like a rubberised iPhone 4.

Thankfully, we won't have too long to wait as Pocket-lint is at BlackBerry World 2012 in the US, so will be reporting back after it opens tomorrow, 1 May. Stay tuned.
