    Sepp Blatter Refuses To Give Evidence

    Sepp Blatter has declined an invitation to give evidence about World Cup bidding allegations to a Parliamentary committee.

    The FIFA President has told the MPs on the culture, media and sport committee that they are focusing on their own investigation into claims of bribery.

    The Sunday Times published allegations that two FIFA executive committee members were paid $1.5 million to vote for Qatar 2022.

    A FIFA spokesman says: "FIFA has immediately asked both the Football Association and the Sunday Times for a report on this matter.

    "With this in mind, FIFA has informed the culture, media and sport committee that it is focusing on its own investigation and that there is therefore no need for the FIFA president to attend the committee."

      Sounds like the police investigating the police to me. It's about time this old man hung up his hat and got the pipe and slippers out, It is clearly getting too much for the old chap, or is greed the prime mover in his quest for immortality as far as FIFA is concerned..............

      So much for creating an "Over-arching International Body" to supervise a multi-Billion $ industry. All you create is Mega- crime and sleaze.
      At least when Britain ran the World, we were a "pretty straight sort of Administration".
      At least there is one thing you can say about Sepp Blatter's Investigation....it will be the best money can buy.

      blatters own investigation ! hahahaha!.should last about a hundred years then. this guy does not give a toss,he knows most of all the other officials are also bribe takers, its a hard door to knock down if they are all at it..just cant believe england are having this investigation. I guess all the innocents are english ! haha! pull the other one. bet you thought ��100 would swing it. anyway! what was the 10million for?..where does it go and who to?..
