Bobbi Kristina Laid To Rest Next To Famous Mum

Whitney Houston's only daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, has been buried alongside her famous mother during a private ceremony in Newark, New Jersey.

The 22-year-old suffered irreversible brain damage after being found face-down in a bathtub in her Georgia home six months ago.

She had been in a medically induced coma, but died last week.

A police report described the incident as a drowning, but authorities are still investigating what happened.

Monday's burial ceremony was for friends and family only.

But about a dozen fans crammed against police barricades as the gold-coloured hearse passed through the gates of the cemetery where Houston was buried three years earlier.

Bobbi Kristina is the daughter of Houston and R&B singer Bobby Brown.

A weekend memorial service for the 22 year old was interrupted by the airing of a long-standing rift between the families of her parents.

Bobbi Kristina's death was eerily similar to the way her mother died.

In 2012, Whitney Houston's body was found face-down in a foot of water in her bathtub at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
