    Mulgrew Sinks Former Club

Celtic defender Charlie Mulgrew scored as Celtic beat Aberdeen 2-0 to register their first Scottish Premier League win in three games.

It took the SPL champions 73 minutes to break though the Aberdeen defence when Lassad Nouioui poked home a Victor Wanyama shot that rebounded off the post.

The win was secured five minutes later when Mulgrew, a former Aberdeen player, slotted home from close range to put Celtic two goals in front.

The win sees Celtic go top of the table for at least a couple of hours. They're now a point of Hibernian, who play Dundee on Saturday afternoon.
