I've come for the man that shot ma "Paw".

At first glance it is the lack of interest on the tourists faces and their general focus on something else that tells me that this is not real. If you were that close to a croc about twice the size of the average you would be pretty amazed by that - and unless there is something wrong with you it will show on your face. NONE of those people looked very interested, let alone amazed.

I love the faces of the people in the photo. Sorry, but if I was in that boat, my face would show horror while I screamed "WTF????? Get me out of here!!!"

There ain't no Adelaide river that wide, its the Murray if at all.....
      • Francis 5 months ago

      • Ronald 5 months ago
        It`s the Adelaide allright.
      • Cormac 5 months ago
Well it certainly isn't the Murray river as there hasn't been a croc found there since ol'Jim used to hike up to them there telegrapf stations. In other words Brian, be quiet!

If the croc has just emerged from the water, then why is there no water streaming off it's body? It all looks too neat to be true!
      • Ronald 5 months ago
Learn something about croks before you call it a fake
      • Matthew 4 months ago
There is water streaming from its body, are you stupid.
    • Kevin  •  5 months ago
Fake or not, the person taking the picture has guts - you wouldn't find me hanging off the side of a boat where crocodiles are being fed! But in relation to the fakeness, would people go through all the trouble of getting on a boat, pretending to look scared at a crocodile, then go through all that hassle of super-imposing the two pictures? I think I'd rather be relaxing with a cool beer. So many reasons it could be a fake, so many other reasons it can't. Only the people in the shot know the truth!

Anyone else noticed the croc's lack of a right arm?
    • annette  •  5 months ago
I have done this trip if looks like the same one as i done which i think it is because the croc has a arm missing it a massive croc its in northern OZ, crocs can bring there self right out of the water like this i seen it with my own eyes. They are wild but they now know when they hear the boat and the guids put meat in the water that they are going to get fed. Its a bit of a circus show so this defo does happen. So not sure anyone would make a fake photo when it does happen in reality i have simalier ones up in the loft i'm surprised it on here because there are a few companies in oz. Assuming there must be simalier trip in US as well.

The trips are real, the crocs are real, but this photo is a fake. Watch some of the online videos of these trip and you will realise that they don't get the crocs so close to the boat without somebody shying away, or at least looking at the croc!
      • Aquila 5 months ago
Look at the photo again, it looks to me like 2 people are photographing it, one man is definitely recoiling. The croc seems to have missed the meat though.

Been there and seen him earlier this year on a trip to Darwin. Its real, they do come out of the water like that and this guy is over a tonne in weight. Pretty spectacular. Have a closer look on the faces. Old mate with the blue shirt isn't leaning over the edge is he?
