UK snow in pictures

The cold snap returned with vengeance on Monday as parts of the UK woke up to a blanket of snow and sub-zero temperatures. More of the white stuff is expected throughout the rest of the week as forecasters warn that the big freeze will last a while.

      Blimy i,m old enough to remember the Freeze of 62-63, when we had proper weather each season, and falls of snow up to 12 inches deep or more at times, this was at least four times a winter, what we have now !!! is Nothing this day and age !!!!!!

      It's winter! The Thames river used to freeze over to the extent people could skate on it, in fact there were even markets held on the ice. A couple of weeks of icy cold won't hurt anyone but the old, homeless and other vulnerable people, and we as a caring society should ensure they will all be o.k......

        but they dont do they?people die..even hospitals let people die.cold does hurt it kills the vunerable,everyone takes care of thgemselves today there is no care or very little in most comunities now,its all a very selfish society now..money is everything.
