Prince Philip's illness delaying royal baby family portrait

London, July 28 (ANI): Prince William had hoped to get the royal family together for an official portrait to mark the arrival of Prince George of Cambridge, but the Duke of Edinburgh is still taking rest after his recent health problems. Prince Philip is the only senior royal who has been unable to meet the latest addition to the royal family. The meeting is now unlikely to take place for some weeks, the Mirror reported. The next official gathering of the family is going to be taking place in the autumn in the music room at Buckingham Palace for the 6-day-old's christening. On Friday, Queen Elizabeth jetted off to Balmoral Castle alone for her annual summer holiday while the Duke of Edinburgh is still making his recovery at Sandringham. A royal source said that the Royal Family are all in different parts of the UK and for reasons and commitments beyond anyone's control it is difficult to arrange at the present time. (ANI)
