Raging bull: Escaped beast causes chaos on Spanish freeway by ramming cars

Motorists are forced to take evasive action in this dramatic video - after a bull escaped onto a busy freeway and started ramming cars.

The beast got out of its cage while being transported to a festival in Iriepal in Guadalajara, before causing chaos for oncoming traffic.

Video captured by a nearby car passengers shows the bull running along the road, attacking cars and forcing some drivers to climb on top of their vehicles.

At one point it furiously charges into a passenger door, before ramming the car's body as passengers cower inside.

The bull was being taken to the town north of Madrid to help celebrate the feast of San Roque.

The festival begins with a Catholic mass and procession, before celebrating with re-enactments, parties and fireworks in the evening.
