Truck Destroyed by Fire on Italian Highway

A truck loaded with food was engulfed in flames on an Italian highway near Ascoli Piceno on Tuesday, March 12, disrupting traffic for hours, according to local reports.

Firefighters said they arrived at the scene near the Monteprandone exit at around 2:30 pm and were resolving the incident a couple of hours later.

The fire was caused by engine failure, news reports said.
