US celebrity Kim Kardashian’s first visit to the country of her roots has rendered crowds of Armenians star-struck as she and her entourage tour the capital, Yerevan. Accompanied by rapper husband Kanye West, Kardashian has met the country’s prime minister, Hovik Abrahamyan, and fueled speculation she is working on a documentary on the Armenian genocide.
