Siren Sounds in Bangkok After Deadly Bomb Blast

A bomb blast rocked central Bangkok on the evening of Monday, August 17, killing at least 22 people. The explosion occurred near the Erawan shrine, a tourist hotspot in the city’s Chidlom district. Bangkok-based TV station Coconuts said a suspicious object feared to be a second bomb was found near the blast site and disarmed.
