Marley is a senior boy who has sadly found himself looking for a new home through no fault of his own. He is an affectionate dog who loves everyone he meets.

At the age of 11 he still likes to get out and about on his walks and is active for his age. He is described as a 'very popular boy' and everybody loves spending time with him.

Marley would suit a quiet home where he can spend the rest of his days curled up on the sofa. He has never lived with other animals and can become unsettled around other dogs.

Teddy is an energetic dog who loves and needs affection. He doesn't like to be left alone for too long and he loves playing games and going on adventures.

Teddy will need time to build trust and confidence in his new owner for being handled for grooming or vet visits. Teddy has lived with a dog in the past so may do so again depending on personalities and successful introductions.

Rico is a collie that will enjoy an active rural home that likes participating in sports or trials. He is a clever dog who has the brains and ability to conquer everything.

He has lived happily with children but would be best without so the focus can be on him. He has little experience of cats so a home without cats is needed. Rico is fine around dogs but has not lived with one so a pet free home would be ideal.

Rico is awaiting his new adventures from the comfort of his current home and is not at the kennels

Candy was found as a stray and unfortunately was not claimed so is now in need of a forever home. She is an older Shih Tzu.

She is a lovely dog and she is very active for her age and loves to play with toys. Although Candy struggles with her coordination and seems to have a condition affecting her movement it does not hinder her.

Candy would prefer a quiet home where she can snooze the day away. She will not need much exercise, just a decent sized garden to play in if she feels like it. She would be ideal for someone just looking for a bit of company

Lissy is looking for her new home due to a change in her owner’s circumstances. She’s a sweet dog who can be a little reserved at first but once she is relaxed she loves attention.

She prefers quiet environments and can be spooked by loud noises. Lissy enjoys being outdoors with the option of coming inside when she can, so a garden is ideal.

Lissy gets along with most dogs on walks but can be barky. She has lived with a cat but can chase new ones, so slow introductions would be needed

Ollie is a medium-sized lurcher looking for a new home. He is sweet-natured, warm and affectionate to everyone. One of his favourite things is playing ball, then he likes nothing better than to cosy up in a nice spot and have a doze.

Ollie does have a high prey drive so can’t live in a home with cats or other small animals. On walks, Ollie can pass other dogs with no issues but he is best suited to a home as the only dog.

He will need to be kept on lead and encouraged away from wildlife and small animals as part of his ongoing training

She would suit an adult only home with people who have had experience with nervous behaviour. As Isla does not like strangers, her new family will need to be aware of this.

Isla is working on her behaviour around other dogs and she has a lovely relationship with the kennel staff.
