The £10 IKEA dishes shoppers are calling 'classy' fit perfectly in my air fryer

There are probably few people who have yet to discover the joys of an air fryer. I've had one for quite some time now - and quite frankly couldn't live without it.

While I generally just chuck fries and whatnot straight in the thing, I've been wanting to use it for more things, but have been struggling to find dishes to fit inside.

That was until I came across the set of two LYCKAD oven dishes from IKEA. My Ninja Foodie FlexDrawer Dual Air Fryer features one huge 10.4L megazone and the larger dish fits perfectly in that space.

It means that rather than turning the oven on to finish off a cottage pie for instance, I can now just whack it in there for about 20 minutes to crisp the top.

The smaller dish is a bit too big to slot in just one side of my machine, but it's still handy to have a smaller one for when less of us are eating and it can just sit in the megazone without the divider too.

It's not just the size of them that's appealing either, they're a lot more modern than other casserole-style dishes you find in shops and the dark colour means they won't stain.

Dozens of people have left positive reviews on IKEA's website, many of them praising the design, colour and size, pointing out that the smaller dish is ideal for a couple.

"I love those plates," said one. "They can go in the oven and the colour makes them look classy."

Another said: "With the clear glass dishes, you can see the browned grease on the sides, which doesn't look nice on a table. These are black and don't show the little drips. They look classy and there is no pattern to wear off over time like my older casserole dishes."

A third added: "Love the two sizes. Nice weight and colour."

The set costs £10 and can go in the dishwasher too, which is an added bonus.
