Formula One
It’s been a complicated relationship between Formula One and the BBC. ITV won them off the state broadcaster in 1997 but the Beeb won them back in 2009. This surprise food and impressions hit from Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon began in 2010 on BBC Two, spawning two series and a film. The Voice UK
It felt like the judging panel had more changes than contestants and now The Voice UK is making a move to ITV after the BBC lost the rights last year. Once a direct rival of The X Factor, it will now be aired on the same channel having never quite hit the heights expected on the Beeb. (Pic: BBC)
It’s a sad day for Bake Off fans who are still reeling from the news that the show is being moved to Channel 4.
From now on it will be sponge cakes with adverts in between as the ad-free BBC loses its flagship show.
