Next week on Neighbours, Mackenzie flees from Erinsborough after her tensions with Holly spiral out of control.
Elsewhere, there's a last-minute hitch at Chloe and Elly's wedding, Toadie saves the day for Melanie, and Leo starts to catch feelings for pregnant Krista.

1. Toadie tells Paul to back off
As Christmas dawns on Ramsay Street, Jane and Terese are still reeling from the discovery that Paul was involved in the council approving their project.
The women are torn over whether to come clean or let it remain a secret.
Paul's constant presence is casting a shadow over Toadie's marriage to Terese. After a tense Christmas dinner, exasperated Toadie pays Paul a visit and demands he stays away from his wife.
2. Mackenzie and Holly's rivalry escalates
Things are still awkward over at the share house since Mackenzie declared her feelings for Haz and Holly destroyed a scarf in a fit of jealous rage.
The 20-somethings try to reconcile their differences by throwing a Christmas party. But while Haz and Byron work through their problems, the rivalry between Holly and Mackenzie results in a near-fatal pool disaster.
3. Holly issues Haz with an ultimatum
Tragedy is averted when Haz jumps into the pool and manages to rescue Holly before she drowns.
Although both deeply traumatised, Holly's brush with death brings her and Haz closer and they decide to give their relationship another go.
Meanwhile, Mackenzie is horrified by the devastation her moment of madness caused, but Holly doesn't want to hear her apologies.
In a state of shock and anger, Holly issues Haz with an ultimatum – either Mackenzie moves out of the house or he does.
4. Mackenzie flees from Ramsay Street
Haz is left in dilemma over his girlfriend's ultimatum and avoids giving Holly an answer.
Mackenzie tries once again to make things right, but is shocked when Haz reveals Holly wants him to choose between them.
Hurt that Haz didn't try to defend her, Mac decides she needs to get away from Erinsborough for a while and books a flight to go and visit her dad.
5. Krista rises to the challenge
Krista finally tells David about her pregnancy, but before they can discuss it further, Paul issues her with an impossible task.
He asks Krista to present a party proposal for Belinda, one of their most picky clients. Although initially flummoxed, Krista decides to channel her inner nepo baby and wows Belinda with tales of her family's brushes with the rich and famous.
Later, a smug Krista delivers her pre-approved proposal to Paul, delighted to have got one over on him.
6. David supports scared Krista
Krista's happiness is short-lived when David wants to discuss the fact that she used drugs during the early stages of her pregnancy.
She reacts badly when David suggests they seek expert help, but later admits to Leo that she's terrified of the damage she may have done to her unborn child.
Krista eventually apologises to David, and he promises to support her, no matter what.
7. Elly makes a shock discovery
Elly is giddy with excitement to be marrying Chloe, but there's a shock in store for the bride-to-be when she discovers Grandma Liz has been leaving Aster alone for hours on end.
Appalled by Liz's irresponsible actions, Elly bans her from the wedding, but is then faced with a problem – there's no-one is available to look after Aster while she's away on honeymoon.
Not wanting Elly and Chloe to miss out, Susan steps up and agrees to stay in Sydney to take care of the little girl.
8. There's heartbreak for Chloe
As the day of the wedding arrives, Chloe gets ready with Terese and marvels at how happy she is.
Soon it's time to head to the ceremony, but as Chloe slips her shoes on, she discovers her Huntington's has left her unable to walk in heels.
Shattered, Chloe is left fearing this means she won't be able to walk down the aisle to marry the love of her life.
9. Chelly say 'I do'
Supportive Elly comes up with an alternative plan to ensure Chloe feels comfortable at their wedding.
She steps out of her own heels, and the couple make their way down the aisle arm-in-arm as barefoot brides.
After exchanging heartfelt vows, Chelly are declared wife and wife, and drive off to start their married life together.
10. Melanie receives big news
Melanie is shocked to learn the UK government has summoned her and Krista to a preliminary interview to decide whether to extradite them for drug possession and absconding.
As part of the process, Melanie's lawyer reveals she will need to provide character references that prove she's an upstanding citizen who got caught in a messy situation. But she's rattled when her lawyer seems to think they can rely on having the support of Toadie.
11. Toadie steps up to help Melanie
Nell is panicked when she hears about Melanie's interview and her reluctance to ask Toadie and Terese for a character reference.
The teen goes over her head and asks the couple if they'll help, but Toadie is impressed and points out Melanie should come to him directly.
Despite this, Toadie decides to do the right thing and comes through with the reference for his former wife.
12. David fears Leo's getting too close to Krista
Elsewhere, Leo is there to support Krista as she voices her fears over being extradited and the inevitable media storm it would cause.
She's grateful for his help, but David is troubled by his brother's growing feelings towards Krista.
He warns Leo that Krista's not ready for a relationship, and him getting romantically involved could completely derail her recovery. Will Leo listen to his advice?
